Thanks for stopping by! We are belle & sass and we have been documenting weddings for over 10 years. We tell stories of individualists, adventurers, minimalists, non-traditionalists and traditionalists with a rebel heart, of modern lovers, and of those who elope.

What’s in a name? 

We chose our name belle & sass as it is a nod to our middle names Isabelle and Saskia. More importantly, it also describes how we work: appreciating beauty and adding a little bit of sass.

Belle mostly goes by Isa. She loves to fix stuff and to create beautiful things of all kinds. If time allows you can find her sewing at her beloved industrial sewing machine - the one that smells like machine oil. She actually ran her own kid's collection a few years back.

Sass is not only short for Natascha's middle name Saskia, but even more so from Natascha's sassy personality. It propels her to always look for an edge in her photography - and communication (but you know that if you know her).
