Why would you do such a thing? Well, once you have gotten to accept the fact that all your life you might have been only a closeted exhibitionist, you may now, that you are getting married in public might as well give in and show the world what you and your love are all about. Tell them your story, show them your faces. This may not sound like much but if you think of it… it actually could be.

What can a website do for you and why on earth would you even consider making one? It’s actually a really clever way of creating a customized portal of all things your wedding. And one you have somewhat complete control over. Believe it or not, wedding websites do NOT have to be based off of ugly rose-colored templates with flowers and helpless cake adornment. They can be cool, picture based, responsive websites actually gathering useful information for you and your guests. Especially for those, who have an international wedding party this is a really great and easily accessible guide. You can provide your guests with directions, accommodation, tips for spare time activities, gosh, even your account information… I said, it should be useful, right?

Anyway, think of it that way: you can do your own thing, apply your own style and actually provide information that makes sense. And for those who want to keep it private: only share it with those who matter because they will love it. That’s usually how people who love you are: they are interested in you.

Wofür eine Hochzeitshomepage nützlich sein kann

Insofern man das heute überhaupt sagen kann, so möchte ich sagen: ich achte auf meine Privatsphäre. Auf Facebook und auch sonst. Der Gedanke eine Hochzeitshomepage zu machen mag deshalb vielleicht nicht unbedingt auf der Hand liegen. Warum so eine Seite rund um euer Hochzeitsfest dennoch etwas ganz Tolles sein kann, möchte ich euch gern hier darlegen.

es ist zeitgemäß. Ich weiß, ich weiß. Es gibt noch Großeltern, Tanten und andere Leute, die kein Internet verwenden. ABER. Denkt nur daran, wie Informationen heute verbreitet werden. Und ich sage nicht, dass ihr eure Hochzeit als Veranstaltung auf Facebook eintragen sollt, aber selbst ich war bereits vor Jahren Mitglied einer geheimen Gruppe, die zur Vorbereitung der Hochzeit einer Freundin gedient hat. So eine Seite macht es einfach, Informationen zu sammeln und euren Gästen zur Verfügung zu stellen.
Organisation: Wo sind die besten Hotels in der Umgebung? Was kann man in der Gegend unternehmen? Erfahrungsgemäß heiraten Paare oft in ländlicher Umgebung, auch oft da, wo man nicht unbedingt vorher schon mal war. Da ist es doch schön, wenn ihr die Hochzeitsgäste mit Tipps für Unterbringung und einem Vorschlag für einen schönen Ausflug in der Gegend versorgen könnt.
Ihr könnt Zusagen und Absagen leicht erfassen. Wer kommt und wer kommt nicht? Wer will das vegetarische Menü und wer ist ein Carnivore und isst alles?
Ihr könnt von eurer Hochzeit und eure Geschichte erzählen. Den Blog und die Hochzeitshomepage kann man hübsch mit Verlobungsfotos füttern.
